Tuesday evening rain.
My girlfriend is tufffff.
Last night’s 9-8 victory was by far the most exciting game I’ve seen this season. 22-year-old phenom Wil Myers hit a 2-run HR off the fourth floor balcony (!) of the Tobacco Road building in the 8th to decrease the Bull’s deficit by 2. Then, after a suspenseful batter-pitcher dual that lasted 10 or 11 pitches in the 9th, he hit another 2-run HR to tie the game, this one a laser shot that barely cleared the ‘Blue Monster’ in left. A few batters later, the winning run on 2nd, Tim Beckham hit a walk-off single for the win! Cory Wade here got his first W of the season after two scoreless innings of relief work.
I spotted this Durham mnemonic in Richmond last weekend. Lucky Strike factories must be the leitmotif of southern tobacco towns.
@jenski4 and @kaottinger summoned this large fella to guard the honey.
Dog-sitting Bella last weekend. @brotherbaird (at Parker & Otis)
#joshritter show two nights ago with @jenski4. A nice celebration and ‘amen’ to my seminary years. (at Cat’s Cradle)
Fellow southpaw in action.
The nephew, taking photos of dad at his first baseball game (at Durham Bulls Athletic Park)
Spine poetry.
@jenski4: coming to a church nursery near you.
3 HRs and 27 Hits for both teams combined, but 1 Loss for the Bulls. 3 Errors doesn’t help.

Now I’m just being narcissistic. Another shot by Jennifer.
